For Floyd’s BD, I wanted to get some beef ribs from London Road Market. I went there by scooter only to find that they had none. (Why would have display beef ribs online if you don’t have any?) So I bought some pork ribs instead.
Happy BD!

I finally have new summer tires for the T&C.
I decided to go with Kirks for new rubber. They corrected an error by K1z Auto and Gary Moe Chrysler (the annoying rattle in the rear end), new brakes all around, new winter tires, and other stuff. They seem to know their stuff.
My last tires were pretty badly worn. Floyd got some service done on his vehicle. They said he needed new tires. I compared his to mine, and he had three times the tread that I did. Oh my.
While whizzing along on my scooter, something caught my eye. It was a bird on a light standard. It was hard to make out detail way up there, looking against the sky, but Floyd later identified it from pictures as a hawk.
This was right on the edge of the coulee, so (s)he was most likely waiting for lunch.
Long ago, when Glenn was alive, I offered to buy his pellet rifle from him. It was used, but I made him a pretty good offer. He said ‘no’.
Fast forward many years. Glenn has been gone for many years now. I have inherited his pellet rifle. … Maybe this is why he said ‘no’ – he knew it was a piece of crap.
I printed out a bullseye target and shot at it inside the garage. I followed various instructions found online.
Got a late start! The hot spring pool opened at 7am, but I wasn’t there until about 8:30. I made some mediocre coffee in the hotel room and wandered down there to greet the day.
