Sir, you cannot drop the price of something – anything – by more than 100%.  If you drop something by 1000%, that means that you must pay the customer 9 times the previous value of the product.

Happy National Truth and Reconciliation Day.  Yes, I’m wearing my orange shirt today.

I had frank discussions with various students today.  Everyone has different ideas, opinions, concerns, etc. as everyone’s experiences are different.  As Phyllis Webstad says in Decolonization and Me, our understanding of a history is only so deep.  The truth is much deeper than we know.  We fill in the blanks from our own beliefs for that which we don’t know.  This is where racism starts.  It continues by not reconciling.

Ole Trumpy down south has hit the lowest 100-day approval rating as President of the U. S. of A. since F. D. Roosevelt’s third term, according to USA Today.  He now sits at 39%.  I hope he continues with his belligerent rhetoric toward Canada and the rest of the world so he can be ousted from presiding.

never seen before

This man must have an extensive list of all the things he has “never seen before”.  He likes the phrase, I suspect, as it suggests that he has “seen” whatever it is long before anyone else has.  I’ve never seen before anyone use this phrase as much as Trumpy Don.

“Nobody likes a bad picture or painting of themselves, but the one in Colorado, in the State Capitol, put up by the Governor, along with all other Presidents, was purposefully distorted to a level that even I, perhaps, have never seen before,” Trump claimed in a lengthy post Sunday night.
