Happy Treaty 7 Day, everybody! Today is the anniversary of the signing of the treaty between the Blackfoot Confederacy (Kainai, Siksika, Piikani, and Amskapi Pikuni nations) and the Canadian Crown in 1877, which later became known as southern Alberta.
