Hi everybody. I’m Allan. This is the latest incarnation of the Ongoing Letter, my blog to the outside world.
It started in Oct. 1998 as a way of keeping in contact with everyone while I was living and working overseas. It beat long-distance charges. Plus, telling each and every person the same news got a little repetitive.
So I came up with the Ongoing Letter (long before a ‘blog’ became a thing). It is a letter to friends & family that has just kept on going – hence the name. It’s gone through various changes over the years but remains as a means of saying hello to everyone. You an see archived entries from way back.
