Wow. It finally happened. Namo delivered my CD. I’ve been waiting for two weeks to get this. Living in Korea and wanting an English version is kind of unusual, i guess. They wanted me, originally, to pay in Yankee dollars. I’m not a Yank, and i’m living in Korea. Why don’t i pay in Brazilian Real, Mexican Pesos, or Bangladeshi Taka? I’m in Korea. I can pay in Won, thank you very much. Anyway, i now have what i think is the best web editor on the market. Do i sound like a commercial? Well, so be it.
I took most of my plants outside today. Why? I’m silly. No, that’s not it. It’s raining. Raining! Everyone here has been waiting for rain for a month or more. Crops are all dry and dying, earth is cracked like a desert, farmers are going broke. Today & yesterday it’s been pouring rain. Hopefully it’s not too late. But my own plants should like a good soaking nonetheless.
Brian, Jen, John, Hanmee, & i went out to Seoul Pub the other night. (Jen, Brian, John, and Philip are some Canucks we met in a bookstore a while back. They’ve been here for about 4 months.) We had fun, but in my opinion Seoul Pub is a bit too loud to have conversations. Me and my ears! They’ve got a hard time sorting out loud noise and soft voices.
Geeze! It’s been a while since writing in this thing. I forgot how to do it!
